FANNY PACK IS BACK

Here's the "good news" today! Ted is receiving the 2nd round of ESHAP chemo this week. (Tina) Here's the bad news ... Ted is receiving the 2nd round of ESHAP chemo this week. (Ted)

I am hooked up to a good-sized Mueller fanny pack for the next five days. I will be done using it on Friday and want to know if any of you girls need it for the trip to Canton on Saturday. It has an adjustable belt with three very nice zipper pockets. Please do not use it to store a turkey leg. I need it back in two weeks. (Ted)

As you can tell, Ted is feeling quite well today ... He even asked me to take this picture of him with the fanny pack. (Tina)

Oh my gosh! Ted, you are doing well because on a great day, I can't imagine that you would want your picture on the blog. If no one else has dibs on the fanny pack, I WANT IT. I have never had one and always thought it would be a great thing to have. Canton, you ain't seen nothing yet, here I come with a fannny pack. I might just be dangerous.

I am a stranger to you, Ted and Tina. But I work with your sister (in-law), Dawn. Dawn is a precious soul on our team. Regardless of work, she is a person that I am grateful to have brought into my life. If you are anything like her, you are a gift to those around you. As I read your blog, there is no "if" about it. You are hopeful, courageous, and joyful. It is obvious to me that you are playing the cards you have been dealt as a united force, and that your family and friends have joined you. There is power in that. So know this - those who are unknown to you but care about someone close to you, are also holding you up in spirit. I am one. I wish you well.

Ted, I love that you've embraced the blogging world!! I'm laughing out loud right now reading this! Y'all are too funny! I'd say I want dibs on the fanny pack, but apparently Lolly already called it and Jenn won't claim to be with me if I take it :) . I'm glad it's a good day!!

Ted, I know you have your rules about no turkey leg in the pack, but would you mind if I stored some tater twisters in it or perhaps some funnel cake? I promise not to put too much seasoning on them. That way I could just casually eat them throughout the morning and not have to woof them down so quickly.

Oh, Dawn, you'll have to plan your next visit the weekend just before the 1st Monday of the month!! Canton is just one weekend a month.

Lolly, I must say I'm very excited to be making a trip to Canton with you! You sound like you know the favorite goodies and treats, so you'll have to teach me the ropes! I'm excited to be introduced to these tator twisters you mentioned! Can't wait!

Too funny! Well, hopefully we'll see you over Thanksgiving then! You just might be in luck...I think Thanksgiving weekend IS Canton weekend! It's just over an hour drive, and I'm sure it will be crowded that weekend. We'll have to talk to Tina and see if she's up for it :)

eIs there a button on the fanny pack for "happy medicine" every 15 minutes? Or does it at least hold two water bottles? It sounds like you could auction it off to the highest bidder?? Surely we have a way to make a "pool" out of this. Leave it to a DeVito to try to make money on the deal. Ted, you are amazing and Austin is behind you!
